Yep that’s right. It was about time for a new episode in the long series of birthday parties in the peacful village of Dettendorf. This year’s motto was noblesse oblige and Andrea and me just had to answer that call 😉 Big hands to Flo for inviting us and for arranging one hell of a party 🙂
The next day I’ve basically just been totally lazy. Except for one thing in the evening: After several years, I finally managed to play some rounds of paintball again! Like Barney’d say, it was legendary! 😀

On Sunday I participated in the Munich city run and did the 10 kilometers in 55:50 – not the best time, actually, but I’m still a beginner 😀
Anyways, the run was great, the event was well-planned and everything went smoothly. Even the weather was gracious enough to stop raining for a while 😉 The only thing that sucked is that the photo service they arranged (with those funny-looking badges near the runners throats) is only giving out low-res pictures or (paid) photo-prints…
Well, this is just for the nerdy ones – they’ll understand the heading. All others: google or not, that is the question 😀
Today, I toyed around with Google Maps and especially their Street View feature. It’s not available in Germany yet but will be soon, I guess. It is, however, already implemented in many other countries including Japan. Out of nostalgic feelings, I virtually followed the path from my appartment to the train station which I took so many times during my stay there. And guess what I found? Yeah: myself! 8)
On the second one, my legs are missing because Google is interpolating between multiple images 😉 Anyways, this is crazy and awesome, huh?
Well, I just could not fall asleep and so I was watching podcasts etc. Then I realized that I completely forgot about the new operating system for my telephone :O Hehe, it’s installing now and I feel a little like on Christmas’ Eve 😉

🙂 The title says it all! I’ll be finished with my studies this summer and start looking for a job in the Tokyo area starting around October this year. Anyone got an idea? 🙂
